There is a difference between creativity, innovation, and strategy and it is critically important that businesses work out ways to identify the best ways to leverage all three. I have discovered a simple approach through observation that will help you maximise your resources in delivering outcomes that will drive your business forward.
Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. It is usually best completed by those who wear short pants. They will not wear short pants every day but their pants will at times stop around the top of their socks. if you find any of these people walking aimlessly within your organisation send them to the creative department.
Innovation is the activity that identifies a new idea the work required to make an idea viable. This is usually best completed by those who wear an open neck shirt. The shirt can be of any style but should never be accompanied by a tie. Note a t-shirt is not considered an open neck shirt. Most will consider themselves masters of innovation which is why it is a common fashion item adopted by the majority.
Strategy is the development of a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term goal. This should only ever be completed by those who wear a tie. Some days the tie will come off, it is important on these days you do not confuse these people with those who are innovative.
Women can multitask, so they can do everything all at the same time.
