About Michael Weeding

Michael Weeding is an experienced digital leader with specialist expertise in customer-led innovation, digital transformation, and program management.  With more than 22 years of experience leading digital teams, Michael is a recognised expert in digital strategy development and delivering digital products and services that drive new business growth and customer engagement.  He holds a BA from UTS Sydney, an MBA from Charles Sturt University and has completed an executive program at Stanford University on Customer-Focused Innovation. 

Since 2013 Michael has held the position of Director, Digital at AMP Limited where he has led the teams responsible for delivering AMP’s digital transformation and innovation programs. Prior to joining AMP, Michael worked for Citi Australia for over 9 years where he held the positions of Head of Digital and Head of Digital Acquisition and was responsible for growing Citibank’s digital business in Australia. He holds a BA from UTS Sydney, an MBA from Charles Sturt University and has completed an executive program at Stanford University on Customer-Focused Innovation.

 

Throughout his career, Michael has had the opportunity to build his own business as well as work with some of the worlds most recognised brands. He has worked on many projects and programs big and small and delivered digital solutions into many markets across the globe. He is passionate about leading high performing teams that solve complex business problems through creative thinking and delivery of digital solutions that drive commercial outcomes.
