About Michael Weeding
I have over 22 years of experience in digital leadership roles and have specialist expertise in customer-led innovation, digital transformation, and program management with proven results in delivering new business growth and improved customer engagement. From 2013 - 2019 I led the digital transformation at AMP Limited where I built the internal capabilities across the organisation that ensured we were able to execute one of the largest digital transformation programs within Australia from 2014 - 2016 that redefined its channels. Prior to this I led digital at Citibank Australia.
My academic qualifications include an MBA from Charles Sturt University with an eBusiness specialisation and a BA from UTS Sydney. I have completed an executive program at Stanford University on Customer-Focused Innovation.
I have conducted extensive research on the topic of digital transformation with the objective to identify the capabilities needed to build high performing teams that solve complex business problems through creative thinking and delivery of digital solutions that drive commercial outcomes. Through combining research and years of practical experience I have developed the Digital Performance Framework (DPF). The framework has been the foundation that has enabled me to successfully build high performing digital teams and turn around failing projects and programs or work.
